Tonight on the TLC channel the aired a program all about a family of Wiccans.

It was a show about a lady named Kendra and her family. Kendra is the founder of The First Church of Wicca.

For the first time that I can remember, our faith was given a fair chance to show itself.

It was very encouraging to see. There were segmants about the trails we go through, and the discrimination we face.

All in all though it was very well done, and they had a chance to explain the Wiccan faith without some intolarant Christian extremist bashing the beleif system. The people they did interview that disagreed with the Wiccans came off very silly and made themselves look stupid.

Anyways, I was very happy to see Pagans looking well studied , and intelligent.

If you get a chance to see, it do yourself a favor and watch it.

It would also make a good video to show friends and family that have questions.

Well today my wife and I took my youngest daughter to an ear/nose/throat doctor.

He checked her out and determined she needs tubes put in her ears.

She is 11 monthes old, and has had 3 ear infections in 3 monthes. She also has had a hard time getting rid of the infections, because it seems to be resistant to the Meds.

Anyways, no big deal but, that was my Valentines day. My wife and I exchanged small gifts this year, but it was nice.

Here is a little more about me.

At age 15 I became a born again Christian. I was 19 and one semester away from becoming an ordained pastor: When I began questioning things.

I was born with a gift(which at the time I thought was a curse). I can see/feel spirits that are around. I was told by the Christians that this was the work of the devil. Well no matter how hard I tried it would not stop.    Also the Christians talked down upon other belief systems, but had no real ground to stand upon. So I decided if I was to talk down upon people's beleifs I should at least know there stances.

Needless to say, I researched many differing belef systems and found they all had the same basic beleifs.

That's when I encountered the idea of all people have there destined pathes, and all gods are one God. I then realized that everyone on this earth has His/Her own path. Nobody is right nor wrong.

Through much turmoil I left the church and began a search for what was right for ME!!!!

I found Wicca and from there researched my history and found the Norse system. I don't consider myself Wiccan or Asatru/Heathen. I've made my own system of beleifs. Like the late Bruce Lee said: "Use what is useful and discard the rest. I am my own mixture of the two. Norse/Wicca I guess.

I have been I Pagan/Wiccan since. (about 14 years)

I go by the name Earthraven.

I don't know how to describe my path. I've created my own way. Wiccan, asatru, neaopagan.

I'm married with 3 children. My wife is an ex-Mormon now born again Christian.(boy that can be fun)

I am an amatuer film maker, martial artist as well as an amatuer animator.
